I have always had a love for nature and geography and so beautiful scenic landscapes have always been something I have enjoyed and since have sought to replicate in my artwork. I also really like character in older rustic buildings and architecture. Scenes of old, rusting or decaying subjects, like steam engines, mills or gates have a beauty in them that I really like. Using differing techniques and approaches, I have enjoyed creating different scenes in my mind of rustic rock walls and buildings or old wooden doors and shutters; or drawing or adapting landscapes and scenery I have seen or photographed.
